About the Bible
We believe that the Bible (both the Old and New Testaments) is the inerrant, verbally inspired, and infallible Word of God. The Bible is absolute truth and the immutable authority for Christian doctrine (what to believe) and Christian conduct (what to do).
We believe that there is one true God who is revealed to us in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God exists throughout eternity in these three persons. We believe that God the Father orders all things according to His own purpose for His own glory. We believe that God the Son is Jesus Christ who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born without sin of the Virgin Mary, to redeem man from sin through His death on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father. We believe He intercedes for us today as High Priest and Advocate. We believe that God the Holy Spirit is sent from God to convict of sin, righteousness, and to be an indwelling guide, teacher, and source of strength for the believer.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that all mankind has sinned (rebelled against God) and thereby incurred both a physical death and a spiritual death (eternal separation from God); and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. We believe that our human nature is so corrupted by sin, we are incapable of seeking God or responding to God apart from His grace.
We believe that the only means of eternal salvation is by grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. His atoning death satisfied the wrath of God against our sinfulness. It is by His shed blood that forgiveness of sins may be proclaimed. We believe that all who call upon the name of the Lord, believing that He died for sins and was resurrected to life, and confess Him as their Lord shall be saved and will spend eternity with God.
About the Church
We believe that a New Testament church is a gathering of baptized believers who come together to engage the soul through prayer, exalt the Savior through praise, equip the saints through our participation, evangelize the sinner through pursuing intentional relationships, and edify the servants through a process of discipleship.
About the End Times
We believe that Jesus will return to receive unto Himself those whom He has chosen as His own, and to bring judgment upon the world. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the saved will be raised to everlasting blessings, and the rest will be raised to everlasting punishment.
About the Believer
We believe that every believer is to experience the transforming power of Christ in their daily lives. This new life will be reflected in personal holiness, willing service, and sacrificial love. We believe that every Christian should belong to a Bible-believing local church for nurture in the faith, fellowship with the believers, equipping for service, and preparation to further the Gospel to every person at home and around the world.
