"Do Good" Proverbs

Text: Proverbs 3:27-35

How to get along with everyone,, well, most people.

Do Good…

Do good to those you owe

Do good to those who deserve it

Do good whenever it is in your power

Do Not…

Delay repaying others

Be mean to those around you

Complain about or criticize others

Especially when you do not have a reason

Especially when they have not done you any harm

Envy those who succeed by corruption

The benefits of Goodness

Intimacy with God

A home blessed by God

You will receive grace when you are afflicted

You will inherit honor from God

The risk of being a divisive person

They are an abomination to God

Their house is cursed by God

God chuckles at those who make fun of Him

They display their own dishonor

The Gospel Point of View

Love your enemies, and do good, and lend,

expecting nothing in return; and your reward will

be great, and you will be sons of the Most High.
