A better knowledge of the Spirit

Knowing about the Spirit Receiving the Spirit

Ignorance (no knowledge) Encounter

Exposure (some knowledge) Experience

Informed (good knowledge) Empowered

Expressed

A better kingdom

The Kingdom of Man The Kingdom of God

Pursuit of Power Sovereignty of God

Maximizing Temporal Influence Benevolence of God

The Rule of Law The Grace of God

Maximum good for some The eternal value of all

Servitude Freedom in Christ

A better Way

Rejection of Truth Acceptance of Jesus

Hardened Surrendered

Disobedient Obedient

Resistant Submissive

Slanderous Proclaiming

A Better Result

Within two years all who lived in Asia heard the Word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks

The Better Life

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Perhaps. when we are not feeling the presence of the Lord, could it be that we aren’t doing the very thing that He asked us to do, when He promised to be with us when we are so engaged?
