Saturday Accountability Fellowship
Meets at Denny’s restaurant for breakfast twice a month for an informal time of devotion, fellowship, encouragement, sharing and prayer.
Fall Deer Hunt
An overnight excursion to Union County, for a deer hunt. Friday night we worship around the campfire and have a devotion. Saturday morning those who wish to hunt will be assigned a deer stand or blind. After the hunt we gather for a time of inspiration and challenge, and then have lunch (usually a pig-pickin’). Saturday afternoon there is an opportunity for some target shooting.
A powerful video-driven study group that explores the biblical model for manhood, the unique responsibilities of men at work and at home, and inspires men to live out their lives as a great adventure. Group studies are typically held on Monday mornings from 6:00am to 7:30am.
This is an overnight canoe/camping trip held on a Saturday and Sunday in late summer.
Wild Game Dinner
A wonderful time of adventure in eating! Held annually the last Saturday in January. The meal includes caribou, venison, bear, quail, duck, goose, chicken, moose, rabbit, squirrel, pork, and several versions of “mystery meat.” The highlight of the evening is a guest speaker to inspire and encourage men in their journey with Jesus Christ.
The Men’s Ministry has sponsored a Prayer Retreat, a Men’s retreat, and a Marriage retreat. These Friday through Sunday weekends are a chance to get away from the normal pressures of life to meet with God and experience a time of refreshment and renewal.
The “Light ’em Up” men’s ministry group meets regularly on Sunday evenings for a time of food, fellowship, and discipleship, followed by a time of hands-on grease-monkey fun working on all things with an engine.
